2012 MINI Goodwood Edition

Goodwood is the location in England of the Rolls-Royce Motor Cars (RRMC) headquarters and design / manufacturing centre. This name will now be carried over to the MINI brand for a very exclusive special edition – the MINI Goodwood.
Featuring an interior designed by the head of RRMC interior Design, exclusive wheels and a RRMC paint, this limited production car will attract speculators, collectors and die-hard enthusiasts from both the MINI and Rolls-Royce Motor Cars brands.There will be 1,000 units of the MINI Goodwood Edition produced worldwide, and MINI Canada has been allocated a limited number of units. Production will start in March 2012, with a retail starting in May 2012 (these units take longer to produce due to the handcrafted nature of the edition). In order to determine the allocation within the Canadian market, we would like to provide you with details on this fantastic edition, and to ask for your feedback on the number of units you request for your stores.
But let us start by providing you with an overview of the Product details. The Goodwood Edition is based on a MY2012 Cooper S Hatchback and adds the following:
RRMC Diamond Black metallic paint
Roof and mirror caps in body color
18" Wheels with an exclusive design
Chromeline Interior and Exterior
Exclusive RRMC Cornsilk Leather interior
Luxurious Wool floormats
RRMC Walnut Burr interior surface
Front armrest in matching leather
Piano Black interior trim and RRMC type font
Goodwood badging on the exterior and interior, including a numbered badge (e.g. 1 of 1,000) in front of the gear stick.

As you can see, this car will be fully loaded and there will be virtually no choices to be made, with one exception: we will offer a manual transmission by default, but knowing that some prefer to drive with two pedals instead, automatic transmission will be available as a no-charge option.
Pricing & Next Steps in Determining Allocation:
The final MSRP for the MINI Goodwood Edition is still being finalized. However, to provide you with some orientation, expect a price between $56,000 - $59,900.
