BMW Manufacturing lies at the center of a wide North American supplier network. With 170 different companies from the U.S., Mexico, and Canada, this close-knit community represents a vast array of experience and talent. More than just a one-way parts pipeline, this dynamic network collaborates, shares, and solves—all in an effort to continually improve our process and our products.
Our supplier network is tied together via the BMW Process Development Center, the central nervous system of the BMW Manufacturing supply chain. It keeps everyone in touch, not just with BMW’s purchasing and logistics department, but with each other. We meet to exchange ideas, work to solve problems, and learn from each other.
